Remark by Zhang, F & al. 2015:7: Molecular phylogeny supports the closer relationship of Cyphoderini and Troglopedetini [= Paronellini], both of which have been clustered with Lepidocyrtinae. |
Remark by Zeppelini D & Oliveira J.L.V.C. 2016:569: The presence of pseudopores behind the posterior row of setae on the fourth abdominal segment, as seen in Troglopedetes, Trogolaphysa, Cyphoderus and Troglobius, corroborates the close relationship of Cyphoderus ([Cyphoderini]) to Trogolaphysa (Paronellini). |
Remark by ICZN. 2007:608: Placed on the Official List of Names in Zoology. Opinion 291. |

Remark by Mitra, S.K. 2009.07.31:in litt.: Originally, Denis (1933) described 3 forms of "innominata": C.R.I, II, and III. They were considered as different species by Salmon (1964:544), but are infraspecific morphs or varieties. |

Remark by Janssens, F. 2023.02.04: The new name means "having small equal teeth", but the etymology refers to the large inner paired basal teeth of the unguis. This mismatch is clear evidence of an inadvertent error that must be corrected (Art.32.5.1). The closest match with the etymology is the name "equidentatus". |
