Checklist of the Collembola: Neanurinae |
Remark by ICZN. 2007:543: Placed on the Official List of Names in Zoology. Opinion 435. |
Remark by Weiner, W.M. 2024.06.04:il: The genus Archineanura is invalid because the type species has not been designated. |
Remark by Deharveng, L., Hamra-Kroua, S. & Bedos, A. 2007:58: This species and P. monticellii Caroli, 1912 requires redescription from topotypic material. |
Remark by Busmachiu, G., Deharveng, L. & Weiner, W.M. 2010:57: Lathriopyga longiseta flava Caroli, 1912 is a species inquirenda because of an inadequate original description. It could be an albino form of L. longiseta or a good species. |
Remark by Janssens, F. 2020.11.14: According to the etymology (p.108) : "The new species is dedicated to Agnieszka, wife of the first author." However, the new name refers to Agnieska, not to Agnieszka. This mismatch is clear evidence of an inadvertent error that must be corrected (Art.32.5.1). The name 'agnieszkae' is in line with the etymology. |
Remark by Arbea, J.I. 2007.05.07:in litt.: Unavailable manuscript name. Nomen nudum. |
Remark by Janssens, F. 2023.05.09: According to the etymology : "Named after the endemic tree Zelkova abelicea where new species was found." However, "zolkovae" refers to the genus "Zelkova", not to the tree "Zelkova abelicea". This meaning does not match the etymology. This mismatch is clear evidence of an inadvertent error that must be corrected (Art.32.5.1). 'zelkovabelicea' refers to 'the Endonura named after the tree Zelkova abelicea' in line with the etymology. |
Remark by Ellis, W.N. & Bellinger, P.F. 1973:28: Nicolet, 1847 described new species from Chile. These are also described by Nicolet in Gay, 1851[lapsus for Nicolet in Gay, 1849]. But in the first paper Nicolet cites as author of the species Nicol. in Gay. Evidently the publications appeared in a reversed order. |

Remark by Dányi, L. & Traser, G. 2008:16: The data of Neanura parva (Stach) reported by Dunger (1975) included Neanura alba as well. |
Remark by Deharveng, L. & Bedos, A. 2000:211: The Vietnamese record possibly corresponds to Vietnura caerulea, new species, which is the most common Neanurini of Vietnam. Neanura muscorum, widespread in temperate zones, has never been met in the numerous samples we collected in the region, nor in any country of Southeast Asia. |
